No because we ensure our activities are tailored to suit your level of fitness and ability whatever that may be.

We supply all the necessary safety and technical equipment, you just need to bring suitable clothing and footwear, lots to eat and drink, etc and we will email a kit list to you when you contact us for more information or you can check the activity page where there is a link to the appropriate kit list.

It does not often happen but if conditions were so bad it would make the activity unsafe we would offer a suitable alternative activity or date.

Yes they are! We find that Rafted Canoeing, Archery, Orienteering and Team Challenge Fun are all usually suitable, we just need to know as much as possible about the wheelchair user/users to make sure that they can participate as much as possible.

Yes of course, because once you realise how safe our systems are you will work through your fear and gain in confidence.

Definitely as it is unlikely that you will fall in the water (unless you want to!) and if you do, the buoyancy aid will keep you afloat until we help you back into your boat or on the shore.

We will be happy to give you a taste of the mountains in winter and will choose a route you will feel comfortable with and that will encourage you to do some more!

Yes, please check out our Friends of Active Spirit page for a list of places we would recommend.

We are mobile and can run our activities wherever is suitable. In the Aviemore area we have local sites for activities such as Archery, Orienteering, Indoor climbing and Team Challenge Fun as well as superb hills and crags to climb and excellent trails for biking.

You can find T&Cs on our Terms and Conditions page.

We reserve the right to cancel bookings should the minimum course participant criteria not be met or if the chosen activity cannot be run safely due to external factors such as unsuitable weather. In either case, an alternative activity, date or full refund will be offered.

If you cancel the booking within three weeks of the date of the activity and your place cannot be filled, you will be liable for the full cost of the activity.

More information can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
