Rock Climbing at Logie Head

People of all ages can enjoy making use of the natural features of rock to make upward progress. A tight rope will make you feel safe and give you confidence to use various sized ledges for your hands and feet so you soon realise it's fun working out the moves.

Controlling (belaying) the rope for other climbers is a vital part of climbing and an easy skill to learn and by the end of the session you will be confidently climbing and belaying safely.Abseiling can initially be difficult for some people as leaning back and walking down a wall does not feel very natural, but all fears will soon be overcome and as soon as you are attached to the safety rope you realise how safe the whole thing is.

We do make use of Indoor Climbing walls if the weather is bad and these sessions are a fun way to have an introduction to climbing.
